Up your ikebana game with this neat monochrome set of four small (31mm) kenzan.
A fine accompaniment to minimalist displays, especially if you want to limit the colour palette of your display or control the attention that is given to the dish or bowl you’re using. We think this set would also work well with dried flowers.
Best usage
They might look dainty, but these sharp pins can support a range of woody stems and green stalks. Separate for a selection of mini displays, group together for an ensemble, or buy multiple sets and start a floral chess game.
Place the Kenzan at the bottom of a shallow container. Carefully insert floral stems and branches onto the pins to form the desired arrangement. Add just enough water to cover the top of the pins and the stalks.
Remove any plant matter or residue after each use. We recommend using a Niwaki Kenzan Straightener to clean between the pins. Allow the Kenzans to dry thoroughly before storing them in a safe, dry place (where no one will step on them).
