More about the Moku Trowels
Takahiko Kondo gave up a promising career as bassist in a rock band to carry on his family business, which has been making trowels and hoes for over 100 years in Niigata. He’s now the director, and 6th generation in the business, but his mother and father (below) still work beside him.
