Product description
A specialised tool for Bonsai, the Kaneshin 2 Prong Hook is designed for loosening old soil and detangling delicate roots when you’re re-potting or tidying up. The steel prongs and wooden handle are attached via a metal tang, which stops the tool from working itself loose or twisting inside the handle. Handmade by skilled craftsmen in Japan, it should last as long as your tree does.
Best usage
Gently insert the curved prongs into the soil or root mass and pull gently to divide or separate. Go easy, as too much pressure can damage or break the roots.
