Product description

At the centre of the Friar Park x Niwaki collection, the Meditation Jacket was designed by Dhani Harrison and Jake Hobson for those moments when you need to put life on pause and venture inwards to seek peace.

Made from the same 12 oz Akamimi selvedge denim as our Kojima Work Jacket, woven on traditional shuttle looms in Okayama, its extra-long cut gives it a distinctly cloak-like feel, while an oversized hood helps shut out distractions when the mood for contemplation strikes.

Look to the bottom right corner and you’ll find a red Japanese Maple leaf – one of Dhani Harrison’s favourite trees and a source of inspiration at his home and gardens, Friar Park.

Other details include two large pockets for stowing meaningful possessions, red trim to match the Maple leaf, and a row of neat corozo buttons for fastening at the front.

Best usage

This product may transfer colour to other items, especially when moisture or friction are added to the mix. Please take extra care around cream sofas, box-fresh trainers, pale leather bags and certain West Highland Terriers. We also recommend avoiding white T-shirts for a while. Wash rarely, inside out with similar colours on a cool setting. Use minimal soap and line dry only.
