Niwaki HQ Workshops: Christmas Wreath-Making
Craft a beautiful seasonal decoration with Miyuki Griffin
11:00-13:00
Saturday 28 November 2026
Location: Niwaki HQ Showroom, Unit 7, Chaldicott Barns, Semley, Dorset, SP7 9AW
Join Japanese floral artist Miyuki Griffin for a Christmas wreath-making workshop, with Japanese snacks to fuel your creative endeavours.
Wreaths will be made using a traditional method with natural garden moss, which helps keep them fresh throughout the festive season. A selection of foliage, pine cones, dried orange slices, berries, cinnamon sticks and ribbons will be available to decorate your wreath (though feel free to bring your own if you have something special to use). Miyuki will also teach you how to tie a unique ‘Japanese Obi bow’, using a no-knot method traditionally used for tying a kimono belt (Obi). Your wreath can then be hung on a door or displayed as a table centrepiece with a candle.
This relaxed and friendly workshop will last two hours and take place at the Niwaki HQ Showroom in Semley, Wiltshire. All tools and materials are provided, and no prior experience or specialist knowledge is required.
If you need to cancel or change the date of a workshop booking, please give us as much notice as possible. Full refunds or date changes can be made up to seven days before the workshop. Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer refunds or move your booking to an alternative date after this point. Please contact shows@niwaki.com for more information
