Niwaki HQ Workshops: Wreath-Making
Craft a beautiful seasonal decoration with Ai Jones

More Information

6–7.30pm
Thursday 1 December

Brighten up your front door with a home-made wreath. Drawing on her years of floristry experience, Ai Jones will guide you step-by-step through the process of conceiving and constructing a beautiful wreath, using Niwaki tools and locally sourced materials. You’ll even receive a little Niwaki goodie bag to take home along with your finished wreath.

The event coincides with the Chaldicott Barns (location of this workshop, at the Niwaki HQ Showroom) Christmas Fair, so gather a few friends for a spin around the stalls, then retire to the comfort of the Showroom to get creative. As ever, we expect this to be a relaxed, sociable event.

Location: Niwaki HQ Showroom, Unit 7, Chaldicott Barns, Semley, Dorset, SP7 9AW

More about Ai

Niwaki Workshops: Ikebana with Ai Jones

Ai Jones began studying Ikenobo / 池坊 – the oldest Ryuha / 流派 or style of Ikebana – as a 15 year old in her native Japan. Over time, she developed a passion for Western flower arranging and moved to the UK to learn more. Ai’s synthesis of Japanese and Western styles is now highly in demand, most recently at The Newt in Somerset, Bramble & Wild in Frome and the Niwaki HQ Showroom, Semley. We are delighted that she has chosen to share her journey of floral discovery with you.
