A Friar Park x Niwaki take on our much-loved Higurashi Secateurs, paired with a matching Canvas Holster in rich burgundy.
Drop-forged from hard-wearing KA-70 carbon steel, with a chunky catch to keep the blades securely closed when not in use, these secateurs are made for regular garden pruning, tidying houseplants and cutting woodier stems for flower arrangements. Look closely at the bypass and you’ll find a cloud-pruned tree etched into the steel – a quiet nod to the gardens at Friar Park.
The heavy-duty 16 oz Canvas Holster is reinforced with leatherette inside and double stitched across the bottom. Wear it on your belt to keep the secateurs safe and close at hand between cuts.
Best usage
Be mindful of the maximum 10 mm cutting size, as some woody stems will be tougher than others depending on plant species and time of year.
Wipe away rust, sap and grime with a Mini Clean Mate, sharpen with a #1000 Sharpening Stone and protect with a dash of Camellia Oil.
Return the secateurs to their holster when not in use to keep them safe and close at hand.
