Product description
Home to almost the entire Friar Park x Niwaki collection, this black and burgundy Tool Bag contains just about everything you need for a day in the garden – plus a special record to put on once you’ve called it a day.
Not just any record, either: Ballad of Sir Frankie Crisp (Let It Roll) was George Harrison’s tribute to Sir Frank Crisp, the eccentric lawyer behind Friar Park, whose whimsical writings and ideas left their mark throughout the house and gardens. Consider it the soundtrack to the collection.
- Friar Park x Niwaki Tool Bag: Padded, water resistant and made from hard-wearing canvas, with easy-to-spot rich burgundy handles. Removable dividers create space for up to four pairs of long shears or loppers, with two smaller compartments for everything else.
- Friar Park x Niwaki Garden Shears + Karikomi Holster: Our classic all-round Garden Shears in hard-wearing S60C steel, paired with a rich burgundy leather Karikomi Holster. Made for hedges, shrubs, box clipping, topiary and whatever else needs clipping into shape.
- Friar Park x Niwaki Hori Hori Pro + Canvas Sheath: Everyone’s favourite digging, weeding and planting tool, handmade by third-generation craftsmen in Miki, Hyogo, with a cloud-pruned tree etched into the beechwood handle and a custom burgundy canvas sheath for safe keeping.
- Friar Park x Niwaki Moku Pruning Saw: An 8" Japanese pull saw for garden and light tree pruning, with Friar Park etched into both the blade and its snug-fitting beechwood scabbard.
- Friar Park x Niwaki Higurashi Secateurs + Canvas Holster: Drop-forged KA-70 carbon steel secateurs for regular garden pruning, houseplants and woody flower stems, with a cloud-pruned tree etched into the bypass. Supplied with their own burgundy Canvas Holster for safe storage between cuts.
- Friar Park x Niwaki Cap: Our classic sun/rain shade reimagined in rugged 16 oz black canvas, with subtle Friar Park x Niwaki branding at the front to elicit quiet nods of respect from fellow gardeners.
- Friar Park x Niwaki Lunch Bag: Foil insulated and lightly padded, with room for two Niwaki Bento Boxes or a six pack of 330 ml beers, depending on how productive you plan to be for the rest of the day.
- Friar Park x Niwaki Vinyl: A special-edition vinyl record of George Harrison’s Ballad of Sir Frankie Crisp (Let It Roll), complete with custom artwork.
Best usage
Keep the whole lot for yourself, or hand it over to a particularly deserving gardener.
Spot clean canvas products with a damp cloth and leave to dry naturally. Keep carbon steel tools clean and sharp with a Mini Clean Mate, a #1000 Sharpening Stone and a dash of Camellia Oil.
