Product description

Join Lisa from HINOKI Forest Bathing for a hands-on kokedama workshop, discovering the clever Japanese technique of wrapping living plants in moss to create decorative table or hanging decorations. In the course of this creative session, you’ll make two kokedama to take home with you.

Your tutor, Lisa, will guide you step-by-step through the necessary steps, including shaping the soil, wrapping the roots, applying moss, and securing your plants using traditional techniques. You’ll also learn how to care for your kokedama so they continue to thrive long after the event.

During the workshop, guests will also enjoy a guided tasting of Japanese teas, adding another sensory layer to the experience.

This workshop offers a chance to slow down, work with your hands and engage with Japanese craft and tea culture in a friendly, relaxed setting. All materials are provided: just bring your curiosity.

The workshop is 2 hours long, but please allow 15 minutes before the start time to get yourself settled and to make the most of your time with the class.

Please note: if for any reason you need to cancel or reschedule a workshop booking, please give as much notice as possible. Full refunds or changes to the booking can be made up to 7 days before the workshop. Regretfully, we are unable to offer refunds or reschedule your booking after this point.
