Beautiful hatchet designed for splitting bamboo, but the narrow forged carbon blade is useful for for other fine jobs like splitting kindling and sharpening stakes.

Best usage
An essential tool for working with bamboo – but equally useful for splitting kindling and sharpening stakes.
Always wear appropriate gloves and eye protection when working with sharp tools, and check the area around you for any potential hazards. Before you begin, inspect the blade – it should be sharp and securely attached to the handle.
When you’re ready, hold the handle firmly and make controlled cuts along the grain of the bamboo. Avoid twisting, or applying uneven pressure, as this can damage both the material and the blade. For larger cuts, use the base of the blade rather than the tip.
