Product description

The spirit of Niwaki Camo, captured within its very own pine tree, inspired by the painted backdrops of traditional Noh theatres in Japan. These highly stylised trees are based on a long-gone, ancient pine – the Yogo Pine at Kasuga Shrine in Nara, which still exists in rather less spectacular stump form today. We believe this to be the very first time anyone has stylised the Yogo Pine with a camo make-over, but we are prepared to be proven wrong.

The camo pattern itself is the result of years of collaboration between Jake Hobson and Japanese illustrator Natsko Seki. Inspired by Japanese gardens, it balances the shapes of cloud-pruned trees with the textural details of pine needles, creating an idiosyncratic pattern that invites you to step into an imaginary Niwaki world.

Style with a pair of Kojima trousers and matching camo accessories, and let the garden take you away.

Best usage

These t-shirts are unisex, so women may wish to size down for a closer fit. Please consult the size guide below.

NB the XXS is a slightly different base t-shirt, so if you order an XXS and a S to compare, you will notice a difference. This was necessary to ensure we could find a small enough shirt for our more petite customers and team members.

Made from soft, 100% cotton, so wash at 40°C and avoid bleach and harsh chemicals. Air-dry only, and iron to keep looking smart.
