Chalara fraxinea

Worrying stuff, this Chalara fraxinea fungus that is hitting ash trees across Europe and has now been found in the wild in East Anglia. The Forestry Commission have a page here
Where we are in the West Country, oak is the dominant tree, but on a recent trip to the Yorkshire Dales I noticed more ash - here are a couple of views.
