Learn the beautiful ancient art of Ikebana with our beginner-friendly workshop with Snow Peak Brooklyn and community partner, Niwaki.
Whether you have a green thumb or not, this beginner-friendly event is perfect for anyone interested in learning the ancient Japanese art of flower arrangement. Discover the harmony and balance of nature as you create your own floral masterpiece.
Led by Sogestu School Master, Ayako Shida, our experienced instructors will guide you through the fundamentals of Ikebana, teaching you the basic techniques and principles. You’ll learn how to select and arrange different flowers and foliage creating unique and captivating compositions. This hands-on experience will not only ignite your creativity but also provide a moment of tranquility and mindfulness.
Tickets are $80/person +tax, which includes instruction, flower arranging materials, Niwaki Kenzan, and Snow Peak Sierra Cup to prepare and take your arrangement home in.
