Product description
Leather belt for dangling your tool holsters from. Free size, 130cm long - the buckle comes off so you can cut the end to length (see the video for a demo). Wear it as a regular belt, or outside, gunslinger-style. The colour of the belt will change over time, fading slightly and developing a lovely patina through use.
Best usage
Keeps your trousers up – and equally important, your tool holsters on.
Niwaki belts are designed to be cut to size for a custom fit, so take your time and do it carefulkly. Measure twice, cut once – and watch our short demo to see how the buckle comes off.
Measuring your belt:
• Thread the buckle onto the belt.
• Try the belt on with your preferred pair of trousers. Adjust until it feels snug but comfortable.
• With the belt threaded and fitted, mark where you’d like it to end – leaving roughly 10-15cm of tail beyond the buckle
• Take the belt off and re-measure against your marked point to make sure you’re happy with the length. It’s better to trim gradually than cut it too short!
• Use sharp scissors or a utility knife to trim the belt at your marked point. Hold your nerve and cut straight for a clean finish.
• If desired, smooth the edge with fine sandpaper or a leather edge beveler. You can also apply edge dye or beeswax for a clean, professional look.
