A two day practical workshop at Harvard Farm studying Japanese training and pruning techniques of pines.
15th May looks specifically at Midoritsumi - pinching out of buds, while 18th September looks at Momiage - the thinning and needle plucking. Both days cover training and general pruning, and include both P. sylvestris and P. thunbergii, as well as the relevant tools and equipment needed.
This is quite advanced stuff!
