Best usage
Wash by hand in cold or lukewarm water using a gentle detergent. No bleach, no hot washes – and definitely no tumble drying. Stretch gently back into shape and leave to air dry.
Tenugui are traditionally left unfinished at the edges, so some fraying is normal – simply trim loose ends to keep things looking neat. As each one is cut by hand, lengths can vary, and may be up to 10mm shorter or longer than the stated dimensions.
