Product description
Easy to work with, this supple and malleable aluminum wire provides the perfect balance of strength and flexibility for training bonsai. It’s also useful for flower arranging, crafts, and propping up house plants.
Best usage
Suitable for training deciduous bonsai trees – but equally handy for securing plant stakes.
For bonsai trees, secure the end of the wire to a strong point (like the trunk). Choose a branch and wrap the wire around it at a 45-degree angle. Once in place, gently bend the branch to the desired position. Finish by securing the end of the wire in a tight coil. Check the branch regularly to ensure the wire isn’t cutting into the bark as it grows. Remove the wire carefully with Bonsai wire cutters.
