Eley Kishimoto x Niwaki Flash Pouch: iconic pattern on an iconic carry-everywhere pouch. With special reinforced pockets for sharp, pointy tools with plenty of space for less hazardous items like glasses, cameras, keys and wallets.

Mini Kantan Bag • Green: also available in our classic tan. It’s a sturdy, hardwearing, bijou bucket bag. Designed for the garden, Yuiko took hers book shopping to demonstrate its easy versatility.

Niwaki Engei Garden Jacket • Heavy Navy Twill: a dense cotton twill version of our Japanese-style Kojima Work Jacket, with all the practical features you can wish for and a welcome alternative to the ubiquitous chore jacket.

Niwaki Engei Garden Trousers • Heavy Navy Twill: matching trousers that stand up on their own. Extra pockets and reinforced knees mean you don’t even need to get changed when you return home from a day out craving a little light weeding.
NEW Dan-Ten Quilted Jackets
Just in time for a drop in the mercury*, our popular Dan-Ten Quilted Jackets are back in stock, with three tones for 2025.
* in the UK, week commencing 17/11/25 according to the Met. Office.

Dan-Ten Quilted Jacket • Olive Green: packs away into its own stuff-sack, for easy storage or deployment as a pillow for an impromptu nap.

Dan-Ten Quilted Jacket • Beige: like slipping into a cloud, anyone wearing this jacket will instantly feel 73% warmer and 38% calmer (not scientifically proven).
NEW Sentei Set
Why choose between Sentei Garden Scissors and Sentei Pruners when you can have both? What’s more, you can receive this practical and stylish duo in a fancy paulownia wood box, carefully wrapped in raw-edge tenugui cotton, ready to impress your loved one or treat yourself.
A little background: both tools have been forged in Sanjo, Japan from good old KA-70 carbon steel. This means they arrive extremely sharp, and they’re easy to sharpen when the time comes to freshen them, so they will last for years and years. In fact, the blades have been crafted to overlap slightly, allowing for the gradual reduction in blade width that occurs when you sharpen, making them future-proof by design.
The Sentei Garden Scissors have such a pleasing handle design you’ll reach for them for all sorts of jobs about the house and in the garden, but they excel at deadheading and working with cut flowers.
The Sentei Pruners are the heavier duty of the two, with a max cut of Ø7mm. They have a relatively soft sprung action and open/close with a simple flick of the catch.
NEW bonsai tools
We’re slowly adding to our bonsai range of tools with some niche but essential items for those in the know.
Not forgetting these NEW additions:

Hinoki Chopping Board • Large: a solid slab of bacteria-busting, knife-protecting Chamaecyparis obtusa aka hinoki (aka Japanese cypress).

Niwaki Split Front Apron: an updated design that still uses touch Niwaki canvas, but with more movement and fit-adjustment.

Niwaki Masakari Hatchet: keep yourself well-supplied with kindling using this Japanese hatchet, which pairs white oak with SC carbon steel (the same steel as our highly-rated Garden Shears).
Christmas bags are here!
While stocks last (which might not be very long…) you will receive a free tote or appropriately-sized drawstring bag with every order. Each bag features artwork by Natsko Seki, a Japanese illustrator based in London.
