Tobisho Garden Scissors

For years now we've been thinking 'wouldn't it be great if Tobisho made garden scissors as well as their amazing secateurs and topiary clippers'. Well, lo and behold, we met up in Ikebukuro at a trade fair recently and sure enough, Yasuhito Tobitsuka presented us with their new model, designed by a professor at Tokyo University.
Hand forged in Yasuki blue steel by Yasuhito himself 'in his spare time' (his son has left college at last, so Yasuhito feels less pressure at work now!) these are a stunningly beautiful pair of scissors, suited to fine pine work, bonsai, ikebana and flower arranging.
2 1/2" blades, 7 1/2" total length. Tobisho only make them to order and we don't keep stock - expect a wait of at least 6 weeks.
