Sharpener

These are what we use to sharpen absolutely everything: secateurs, shears, clippers, household scissors, kitchen knives...everything. They're foolproof, quick and clean (no messy oil needed). Run the corner edge of the carbon block along the bevelled edge of your blade, four or five times, and then once on the inside (for single bevelled blades) to remove any burr, or four or five more times for double bevelled blades. Easy as that.

The Professional model turned up in a Christmas stocking years ago (thanks Mum!) and soon earned its place among the Japanese tools.
