Pine Workshop
with Jake Hobson
Japanese pine pruning techniques: a 2 parter, sometime* in May 2012 for bud pruning, and October* 2012 for autumn thinning.
A look at how pines are trained and pruned in nurseries and the gardens of Japan. The two days are intended to be a pair: May deals specifically with bud pruning (midoritsumi) while October is based on autumn thinning (momiage) but both days look at training and general pruning.
