Little beauty from IC-cut, with a 2 1/2" (6.5cm) blade of triple layered V2 steel (made by a steel manufacturer called Tafeku,renowned for its quality).
Hinoki-clad handle (Chamaecyparis obtusa) has a lovely distinct cedar smell to it.
These are friction knives - they seem looser than regular folding knives, but the pressure of your hand over the tang (metal bit) keeps the blade in place.
